(The Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - said to a friend whose child died:) O So and so which do you prefer you to have fun with your child for the rest of your life or you do not come tomorrow to one of the gates of heaven unless you find he has gone ahead of you to him so that he open it for you? That's for you.

(Buroydah) he reported: the Messenger of Allah - Peace and blessing be upon him - the people of Anshoor, visited them and asked about their condition. One time it came to him about an Anshoor woman where her son died and she had no other children except that, this woman was very complaining about it, so the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - came to her and ordered her to fear Allah and be patient.

(Jariir bin Abdillah) he said: We consider that gathering to the family of the deceased and making food after his burial includes mourning the deceased (niyaachah).
