Not even a believer, a thorn or above befalls him, except that Allah raises him by one degree and Allah removes from him one sin.

There is nothing that befalls a believer in the form of exhaustion, sadness and illness to the suffocation he feels unless Allah removes with it from him his faults.

There is always a trial for the believer, male and female, both on himself, his children and his wealth until they meet Allah, while there is not a single fault in him.

There is no servant who is afflicted with calamity and then he says: Verily we belong to Allah, and we only return to Him, O Allah, give me a reward in this calamity, - O Allah, it is in You that I hope for a reward for my calamity, so give me a reward for it and replace it for me better than him, except that Allah will reward him for his calamity and replace him with something better than him.
