Whoever breaks a bone or is lame, it is indeed lawful (from his ihram) and he is obliged to perform Hajj next year (or when he is able).

(Abdulloh bin Amr) that when he was told that the army was stopping (to surround) Abdulloh bin Zubair, so he was told that he should not make the pilgrimage that year because he was afraid that it would be hindered between him and the baitulloh, he decided to perform Umrah and if it was hindered then it would not be hindered between him and Baitulloh then he will perform thowaf and if it is hindered then he will do as he used to do with him (taking allegiance by slaughtering a sacrifice and shaving his hair). Then a while walking he decided to ihrom hajj. So he did not perform his Hajj and Umrah until the day of sacrifice and he brought the Hadyu animal.
