Istighfar and repentance and virtue

. Verily, a servant commits a sin and he says: I have committed a sin, so forgive me. Then his Lord, the Mighty and Exalted, said: My servant knows that he belongs to a God Who forgives sins and removes them and then forgives them. Then he stays for some time / according to Allah's will, then he commits another sin. Then he said: I have committed a sin so forgive him for me. His Lord said: My servant that he has a God Who forgives sins and takes them, so Allah forgives him. Then he stayed for some time / according to Allah's will then he committed another sin, he said: I have committed a sin so forgive him for me. His Lord, the Mighty and Exalted, says: My servant knows that he has a God Who forgives sins and takes them, I have indeed forgiven my servant, so let him do as he pleases. - Do what you want because I really have forgiven you.

. By the One Whose my soul is in His grasp, if you had not sinned, Allah would have eliminated you and brought a people who had sinned and they asked Allah for forgiveness and He forgave them.

. Verily, Allah, the Mighty and Exalted, stretches out His "hand" at night so that He accepts the repentance of the sinner by day, and He stretches out His "hand" during the day so that He accepts the sinner by night, until the sun rises from its setting.
