Surahs and verses to read before going to sleep

('Aisyah) she reported that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) when he went to bed every night, he gathered his palms together then blew on them and recited to them both: Qul huwallohu Ahad, Qul a'udzu birobbil Falaq, and Qul a'udzu birobbin ill-fated; then he wiped with his two palms what he was able to reach from his body, he started with his palms from his head, his face and the front of his body, and he did that three times.

Read (when going up to the bed) Qul yaa ayyuhal kaafiruun, because he is security from shirk.

(Jaabir) he reported that the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - did not sleep before reciting Alif-laam-miim Tanzil (sura Assajdah) and Tabaarokal ladzii biyadihil Mulk (sura Almulk).

(Aisyah) she reported that the Prophet - Peace and blessing be upon him - did not sleep until he read Surah Bani Israel / Al-Isroo 'and Surah Az-Zumar.
