From 'Aisha she said, originally 'Ashura' was a day on which the Quraysh often fasted during the period of ignorance, and the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam did it too. When he arrived in Medina, he fasted 'Ashura' and told his companions to fast, when fasting Ramadan is required to leave 'Ashura', then whoever wants to fast he can fast and who does not want to fast then he can leave it. In this chapter (there is a narration -pent) from Ibn Mas'ud, Qais bin Sa'ad, Jabir bin Samrah, Ibn Umar and Mu'awiyah. Abu 'Isa said, the scholars adhered to the hadith of 'Aisha, this is a saheeh hadith, they are of the opinion that fasting 'Ashura' is not obligatory, but whoever wants him can do it to achieve the virtues that are in him.

From Salamah bin Al Akwa 'he said; When the verse comes down; "...and it is obligatory for people who are hard to do it (if they do not fast) to pay fidyah, (ie): feed a poor person...". (Surat al-Baqarah), many people want to keep eating (not fasting) and only pay fidyah, until the verse after that comes down and I also ask for it.

h1853

"Simplify yourselves in your prayers, because you do not call upon the deaf and the unseen, indeed you call upon a God who is all-hearing, all-seeing, and all-near."

h1854

Verily, you call upon the One Who is All-Hearing, Most Near, and He is always with you."
