It has been narrated to him from Nafi' that someone came to Ibn 'Umar saying; 'O Abu 'Abdur Rahman what is preventing you from performing Hajj and Umrah this year and you abandoning jihad in the way of Allah when you know that Allah strongly encourages it? Ibn Umar replied; 'O son of my brother, Islam is built on five foundations; Faith in Allah and His Messenger, praying five times a day, fasting the month of Ramadan, paying zakat, and pilgrimage to the temple. The man said; 'O Abu Abdurrahman, have you not heard what Allah says in his book: "And if there are two groups of those who believe in war, then make peace between them! you fight until you return to Allah's commandment." Also the word of Allah: "Fight them until there is no fitnah." Ibn Umar replied; We did this during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when Islam was still small until one of us was slandered for his religion, either by being killed or being tortured until Islam spread and there was no more slander. The man said again; 'What do you think about Uthman and Ali? Ibn Umar replied; 'As for Uthman, Allah has forgiven him while you hate to forgive him. While Ali he is the cousin of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam and son-in-law. Then he gestured with his hand and said; 'This is his house as you see it.'

from Jabir said; The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam never fought in the Haram unless he was fought or they were fought. If it (the Haram) arrives (The Messenger of Allah sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam) stay at home until it's over.

From Aslam Abu Imran At Tujibi he said; "When we were in the Roman city, the Romans brought out an army with a very large number of lines to face us, so some of the Muslims came out to fight them like their number or more, the people of Egypt were led by 'Uqbah bin Amir , while all the troops were led by Fadlalah bin 'Ubaid, then a man from the Muslims came out, and broke into the ranks of the Romans, but the people shouted and said: "Subhanallah, he has plunged himself into destruction." So Abu rose up Ayyub Al Ansari and said: "O people, indeed you have interpreted this verse like this, only this verse was revealed to us the Ansar, when Allah honored us with Islam and its many helpers, then some of us whispered to others without knowing it. by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, namely; "Indeed, our wealth has been lost and indeed Allah has glorified Islam and its many helpers, what if we take care of our property and repair what was lost," then Allah sent down a verse to His Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in response to us for what we have said : "And spend (your
