IHDINII LIMAAKH TULIFA FIIHI MINAL HAQQI BIIDZNIKA INNAKA TAHDII MAN TASYAA-U ILAA SHIRAATHIN MUSTAQIIM." (O Allah, Lord Jibril, Michael and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth, The All-Knowing of hidden and visible things, You give judgment among Your servants. in the matter that they dispute. Give me guidance to get to the truth that is in dispute with Your permission, verily You guide whom You will to the straight path).

From Umar radiallahu 'anhu he said; "When the verse that forbids khamr was revealed, Umar prayed: "O Allah, explain to us about khamr with an adequate explanation!" So the verse contained in the letter Al Baqarah came down. Then Umar was called and the verse was read to him. Umar then prayed again "O Allah, explain to us about khamer with an adequate explanation!" So the verse contained in the letter An Nisa` came down: 'O you who believe, do not pray while you are drunk...'. suddenly, the caller of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam used to say, "Don't pray while we are drunk." Then Umar was called and the verse was read to him. After that Umar prayed again: "O Allah, explain to us about khamer with a clear explanation. medahi!" Then the verse contained in the letter Al Maidah came down. Umar was called and the verse was read to him, when it arrived, then stop mu (from doing the work, Then Umar radiallahu 'anhu said; "We stop, we stop!"

Start with yourself, and give charity to him, then if there is left over then the rest is for your family, if left from your family then for your relatives, if left from your relatives then so, so and so. He said; for those in front of you, on your right and on your left."
