The last to emerge from the fire are two men. Allah Almighty says to one of them: O son of Adam, what have you prepared for this day? Have you ever done well? Did you beg me? He says: No, Lord, so he is commanded to go to the Fire, for he is the most despondent of the people of Hell, and he says to the other: O son of Adam, what have you prepared for this day? You have what I asked, and the like of it is with him. Abu Huraira said: And ten like it.

He says: No, O Lord, and he promises him that he will not ask him for anything else, and his Lord excuses him because he sees what he has no patience for, so He will bring him down from it, and he will take shelter in its shade and drink from its water, then another tree is raised for him which is better than The first, then he says: O Lord, bring me closer to this, that I may drink of its water and take shelter in its shade, and I will not ask of You for anything else.
