Gabriel came to me and said: My Lord and your Lord says to you: How did you raise your remembrance? I said: Allah knows best. He said: I only remember you mentioned with me.

Gabriel came to me from Allah, Blessed and Exalted be He, and said: O Muhammad, Allah, the Exalted, His Majesty, says: I have enjoined five prayers upon your nation. He has a covenant with me, if you want, I will torture him, and if you want, I will have mercy on him.

An angel came to me and said, “O Muhammad: What pleases you that your Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, says: No one of your nation sends a prayer upon you but that I pray for him ten times, and that no one of your nation greets you with his greeting except that you greet him ten times?” I said yes, Lord.

Gabriel came to me and said, “O Muhammad, your Lord says: Does it not satisfy you that no one from your nation prays for you but that you pray for him ten times, and no one of your nation greets you except that you greet him ten times?”

Do you know what day this is? This is a day on which Allah Almighty will say to Adam: O Adam, rise and resurrect the fire, and he will say: O Lord, what was the resurrection of the fire? He said: From every thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine to Hellfire, and one to Paradise. So that was greater for the Muslims, so he said: Close, approach, and rejoice. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you are not among the people except like a mole on the side of a camel, and like a figure on the arm of a beast, and that with you are two creations that have nothing to do with them. Never except that they multiplied him: Gog and Magog, and those who perished among the infidels of mankind and the jinn. Narrated by Abd bin Hamid and Ibn Asaker on the authority of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him. He said when it was revealed (O people, fear your Lord, for the earthquake of the Hour is a great thing), he said, and he mentioned it.

Do you know what your Lord says, for your Lord, the Mighty and Sublime, says: Whoever prays a prayer on time and preserves it and does not miss it in disregard for its right, he has a covenant that I will admit him to Paradise, and whoever does not reach it on time and does not preserve it, neglects it disregarding its right, then there is no covenant for him.
