Allah Almighty will say on the Day of Resurrection: O son of Adam, I fell ill --- you visit me, he said, O Lord, how do I return to you and you are the Lord of the worlds? He said: I did not know that My worshipper So-and-so was sick, but you did not visit him? Did you not know that I would have promised him, that you would have found me with him, O son of Adam, I asked you for food, but you did not feed me? He said: Did you not know that My worshipper so-and-so asked you, so why did you feed him? Do you not know that if you Otamth have found that I have? O son of Adam, I asked you for water, but you did not give me water. He said: O Lord, how do I water you while you are the Lord of the worlds? He said: My worshipper so-and-so quit, and you did not give him water, but if you watered him, you would have found that with me.

Allah, the Exalted, His Majesty says: If a worshipper whose body I corrected and whose livelihood was expanded, five years have passed for him, and he does not extend to the deprived.

Allah Almighty says: Whoever insults me a guardian has met me with enmity. Son of Adam: You will not realize what I have except by performing what I have enjoined upon you, and My worshipper continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory deeds until I love, so that I am his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his tongue with which he speaks, and his heart with which he comprehends. And if I seek his help, and I love what my worshipper worships, he advises me.
