The first people to be judged on the Day of Resurrection will be a man who was martyred, and he was brought to him and recognized as a blessing. He said: What did you do with it? He said: I fought for you until you were martyred. He said: You lied, but you fought to be said to be daring, as it was said. Then he commanded it and counted it on his face until he was thrown into the Fire. He said, what did you do with it? He said: I learned knowledge and taught it, and I read the Qur’an in you. He said: You lied, but you learned knowledge in order to be called a scholar, and you recited the Qur’an so that it was said that he was a reciter.

The first thing that a worshipper will be held accountable for on the Day of Resurrection is his prayer. If it is good, then he has succeeded and succeeded, and if it is corrupt, then he is disappointed and lost, and if he is detracted from an obligation, the Lord will say: See if My worshipper has any voluntary, so he completes with it what has been detracted from the obligation, then the rest of his work will be on that.

Your Lord, glory be to Him, says every good deed is ten times its like to seven hundred times, and fasting is for me and I suffice for it, and fasting is a shield from the fire, and the smell of a fasting person’s mouth is better in Allah’s sight than the scent of musk, and if he is ignorant of one of you while he is fasting, let him say: I am fasting.
