A man came to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and said: O Messenger of Allah, will any of the monotheists remain in Hellfire? He said: Yes, a man at the bottom of Hell calls for tenderness and tenderness until he hears his voice, Gabriel, and he marvels at that voice. He said: “Wonder is wonder.” Then he did not wait until he was in prostration before the Throne of the Most Merciful. Then Allah, Blessed and Exalted be He, says: Raise your head, Gabriel, so he raises his head and says to him: I did not see any wonders, and Allah knows best what he saw, so he says: O Lord, I heard a voice from the bottom of Hell calling for tenderness and tenderness, so I was astonished by that voice. Then Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: O Gabriel, go to Malik and say to him: Bring out the worshipper who calls for tenderness, so Gabriel goes to the door of The gates of Hell will harm him, and Malik will come out to him and Gabriel says: Allah, His Majesty, says: Bring out the worshipper who calls for tenderness and tenderness, so he enters and asks, but there is none. Nor is iron among men, so Gabriel returned until he was prostrating before the Throne of the Most Merciful, so Allah, the Blessed and Most High, would say: Raise your head, O Gabriel, why did you not bring My worshipper? He says: O Lord, Malik says: Hell has sighed, I don't know stone from iron or iron from men, so Allah Almighty says: Tell Malik that my worshipper is in such-and-such a secret, and in such-and-such a corner, so Malik enters and finds him lying and lying face down. His forelock is tied to his feet and his hands are to his neck, and serpents and scorpions gather on him, and he pulls him until the serpents and scorpions fall from him, then he pulls him another pull, and the chains and shackles are cut off from him, then he takes him out of the fire, and he turns him into the water of life and pushes him to Gabriel, so he takes his forelock and stretches him. On a group of angels except when they say: Is this worshipper prostrating before the throne of the Most Merciful, then Allah, the Blessed and Most High, says: Raise your head, O Gabriel, then He says: My worshipper, did I not create you with a good character? Did I not send you a messenger? Did he not read my book to you? Did he not command you and forbid you? Until the slave confesses? Allah Almighty says: Why did you do such and such? The worshipper will say: O Lord, I have wronged myself until I remained in the fire like this and that in the autumn, I did not cut off my hope from You.
