The Messenger of Allah, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, told me: Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, when the Day of Resurrection comes down to His worshippers to judge between them, and every nation is kneeling. The first person to supplicate with it is a man who collected the Qur’an, a man who is killed in the way of Allah, and a man who has a lot of money. Then Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says to the reciter: Did I not teach you what I revealed to my Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him? He said: Yes, O Lord. He said: What did you do with what you knew? He said: I used to do it during the night and during the day, so Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, would say to him: You lied, and the angels would say to him: You lied, and Allah says: Rather, I wanted it to be said: So-and-so is a reciter, so it was said that. The owner of the money will be brought, and Allah will say to him: Did I not give you so much that I did not leave you in need of anyone? He said: Yes, Lord. He said: What did you do in what I gave you? He said: I was the origin of the womb and did you give alms? Then Allah says to him: You lied, and the angels say to him: You lied, and Allah says: Rather, I wanted it to be said: So-and-so is Jawad, so it was said that. The one who was killed in the cause of Allah will be brought, and it will be said to him: For what did you kill? He says: I commanded jihad in your cause, so you fought until you were killed. Then Allah says to him: You lied, and the angels say to him: You lied, and Allah says: Rather, I wanted it to be said: So-and-so is bold, so it was said. The first of Allah’s creation will be burned in the fire on the Day of Resurrection) Al-Waleed bin Abi Al-Walid said: Uqbah told me that it was Shifa who entered upon Muawiyah and told him this news.
