her, as saying, “Towards the end of his life, the Messenger of Allah,
praise and peace be upon him, would say increasingly, „Exalted is
Allah with His Praise, I ask Allah for forgiveness and I repent unto
Him‟. And also reported that he said, „My Lord has informed me that I
will see a sign in my nation, and He has ordered me that when I see it
that I should exalt Him with His praise and ask His forgiveness for He
is the receiver of repentance, and indeed I have seen it.”
“When the victory of Allah and the opening comes,
and you see people embracing the Religion of Allah in throngs,
exalt with the praise of your Lord
and ask forgiveness from Him.
For indeed, He is the Turner (for the penitent).”
Chapter 110, The Victory
Let us return to the experience of Abulhasan who, having washed
praise and peace be upon him, would say increasingly, „Exalted is
Allah with His Praise, I ask Allah for forgiveness and I repent unto
Him‟. And also reported that he said, „My Lord has informed me that I
