A very long time ago there lived a ruler called Baham. He was not a kind ruler
at all. In fact he was a tyrant and governed without justice. He thought nothing
of doing whatever he wanted to do and did not care about his people. He was
a very proud man who would not listen to his advisors who did their best to
guide him. He forgot it was Allah who had permitted him to be His trustee and
was watching what he was doing every minute of the day. He was so arrogant
he thought he could do just as he liked – after all he thought, I am superior to
everyone, I am the ruler, this country rightfully belongs to me!
The time came when matters became so bad the people decided to go and
seek the counsel of a wise minister and ask him what they should do. The
