Khadeijah, the author of this story converted to Islam many years ago. She loves
Prophet Jesus and wanted to know what happened to his teachings, because
she knew he would never tell a lie. With this in mind she started out to discover
what actually happened, and how his teaching became so distorted, and this is
how "We Want A Christmas Tree" came to be written. She asks Allah to protect
our children from all the attractions of Christmas as she knows from her own
background just how tempting these attractions are, especially to children.
Each Christmas season, Khadeijah asks Allah to send His sechina, comfort to
Prophet Jesus and Lady Mary, because she feels it must be very upsetting for
Jesus and Mary to see the truth being replaced with falsehoods.

On 11ᵗʰ Shaban 1430, (August 2ⁿᵈ, 2009) Khadeijah had a vision. She saw
Prophet Jesus when he was a baby being cradled in his mother's arms. She
greeted him saying, "As-salamu alaykym", and he responded to her saying, "Wa
laykum as-salam". Allah knows the truth of the matter, but Khadeijah wonders
