The third manner: the host should make his guest feel welcome and seek from
him a suggestion, whenever he finds himself happy or pleased to do w hat is
suggested, this is better and there is a reward and great merit in it.
The fourth manner: The host should not say to his guest, „Would you like to
eat?‟ But he should present the food if it is ready. Al Thawri said: “If a brother
visits you do not say to him: “Will you eat?” or “Shall I present to you food?” But
he should present the food, if he eats, it is well, if not, take it away.”
