To His Excellency Mujirud-Deen

The Holy Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said: " Whosoever is kind to you,
reward him with a superior kindness." Truth is always bitter and the one who patiently
bears bitter things being said against him, does not fail in valid spiritual achievement, for
he is possessed of an extra-ordinary self control.
Due to this reason you deserve my whole-hearted prayers and I sincerely hope that
Allah, the Almighty, will enable you to appreciate the value of true blessings which He
would set aside for you alone.
You should know that the blessed is the one who carefully follows the advice of others.
This involves a steady and searching discipline. The first man who was deprived of this
blessing was Tajul Mulk. He saw the tragic end of Nizamul Mulk's reign with his own
eyes, yet he did not take any warning but instead, being led astray by false hopes of
