not apprehended by the intellect. This is the meaning of prophetic revelation. That is
not to say that
prophecy is merely an expression for such knowledge. Rather, the apprehending of this class
of extra-
intellectual objects is one of the properties of prophecy; but it has many other properties as
well. The said
property is but a drop in the ocean of prophecy. It has been singled out for mention because you
have
something analogous to it in what you apprehend in dreaming, and because you have
medical and
astronomical knowledge belonging to the same class, namely, the miracles of the
