"Had there been other gods in both of them (in Heaven or earth) besides Allah, there would have been
ruin." (Ch.21:22 Koran).
And to explain, if there had been two gods and the first of them willed a certain thing, the
second, if he
were under compulsion to aid the first, would be a subordinate and impotent being rather than an
almighty god; and if the second were able to contradict and oppose the first, he would be a
powerful and
dominating being while the first would be weak and impotent rather than an almighty god.
