some disbelieved like the Christians after Christ

when they fabricated the trinity.

And had Allah willed

they would not have fought one against the other;
but Allah does whatever He wants. 260

254. O believers, spend charity of what

We have provided you, before a day in which
there shall be neither trade,

nor friendship that benefits,

nor intercession without His permission.
And the unbelievers - they are the harm-doers.
