And Allah is All-seeing of what you do. 272

266. Would any of you wish to have a garden
of palm trees and grapes vines,

with rivers flowing beneath it,

and all kinds of fruit there for him, then

old age strikes him, and he has weak offspring, so
it the garden is stricken by fire within a whirlwind,
so it is burned?

So Allah clarifies the signs to you;
in order that you will reflect. 273

267. O believers, spend of the good you have earned,
and of what We have produced for you from the earth.
