mentioned above, because it is the commentary on the Koran by the Prophet, praise and
peace be upon him, himself, the transmission of which is verified and authenticated.

The supportive sciences are those that enable the Arabic scholars of interpretation to
understand the Koran - according to the limitation of human ability - in the most perfect
