3:180 And do not let those who are greedy with what Allah has given them of His Bounty
think it is better for them, but rather, it is worse for them. They will be coiled in that which
they were greedy on the Day of Resurrection. And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the
heavens and the earth. And Allah is Aware of what you do.
@Burnt offerings and the rebelliousness of the Jews 3:181-184
3:181 Allah has heard the saying of those who said, 'Allah is poor, but we are rich.' We will
write down what they have said, and their slaying of the Prophets without right. And We
shall say, 'Taste the punishment of the burning.'
3:182 That, is for what your hands have forwarded. And Allah is never unjust to His
worshipers.
3:183 Those (the Jews) who say, 'Allah has promised us that we do not believe in a
Messenger unless he brings to us an offering that fire consumes.' Say, 'Indeed
Messengers have come to you before me with clear proofs and with that of which you
spoke. Why did you kill them, if what you say is true?'
