5:55 Your guide is only Allah, His Messenger, and the believers; those who establish the
prayer, pay their obligatory charity, and bow down (in worship).
5:56 Whosoever takes Allah for a guide, His Messenger, and the believers the party of
Allah is the victor.
5:57 Believers, do not take as guides those who were given the Book before you who
have made of your religion a jest and a pastime, nor the unbelievers. Have fear of Allah, if
you are believers.

5:58 When you call to prayer, they treat it as a jest and a pastime. That is because they
are a people who have no understanding.
5:59 Say, 'People of the Book, do you blame us for any reason other than that we believe
in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down before us, and
that most of you are evildoers?'
