7:117 Then We revealed to Moses, 'Now, throw down your staff.' And thereupon it
swallowed up their false invention.
7:118 So, the truth prevailed and what they were doing was annulled;
7:119 they were defeated and turned belittled,

7:120 and the sorcerers prostrated themselves,
7:121 saying, 'We believe in the Lord of the Worlds,
7:122 the Lord of Moses and Aaron.'
7:123 Pharaoh said, 'Do you believe in Him before I permit? This is a plot that you have
contrived in the city in order to expel its people from it. Now you shall know!
7:124 I will cut off on opposite sides a hand and a foot, and then crucify you all!'
7:125 They replied, 'We shall surely turn to our Lord.
