Not long after the Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) received the first verses of the
Revelation when he became a Prophet, he received another. This time it was a single

letter with a mystical meaning. Later on during the Revelations the Prophet received
other mystical letters.
The next time Prophet Muhammad, (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) received verses they
included a Divine Oath of reassurance, these verses were also preceded by one of
those mystical letters, the letter "nuun".
"Nuun.
By the Pen and that (the angels) write,
you are not, because of the favor of your Lord, mad.
Indeed, there is an unfailing wage for you.
