two hundred Companions to Buwat to intercept a Koraysh caravan of one hundred men
amongst whom was Umayyah, Khalaf‟s son. When they reached Buwat, the caravan
had left.
The Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) appointed Sa‟ad, the son of Mu‟adh to
attended to the affairs in Medina while he was away
