Although we were not fortunate to be blessed to be alive during the life time of Prophet
Muhammad (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam), and therefore unable to see him, or taste his
presence, we are able to get a fragrant glimpse of his physical description and
characteristics which were preserved by the Companions and passed down to us by the
great scholars of Islam.
The best description of Prophet Muhammad (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam) was given by
Lady Ayesha when she was asked to describe the Prophet (salla Allahu alihi wa sallam).
She said, “His example and character were those of the Koran.” And so it is that he was
and is and will be forever, our best living, exemplary model.
Prophet Muhammad's Genealogy
His parents were Aminah, daughter of Wahb and Abdullah, son of Abd Al Muttalib,
