FORBIDING OF VOLUNTARY FASTING ON A FRIDAY

“I (Muhammad, the son of Abbad) asked Jabir, „Did the Prophet,
praise and peace be upon him, forbid fasting on a Friday?‟ He
replied, „Yes‟.”
Bukhari and Muslim with a chain up to Muhammad the son of Abbad who related
that the Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
WHEN IT IS PERMISSIBLE TO FAST VOLUNTARILY ON A
FRIDAY
