The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said, „I would dearly
love you to be able to see our brothers.‟ They inquired, „Aren't we
your brothers, O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon
him?‟ He replied, „You are my Companions. Our brothers are those
who have not yet arrived (in this world).‟

He was asked, „How will you recognize your followers, O Messenger
of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, who have not yet arrived?‟
He answered, „Tell me; if a man has horses with white foreheads
and white above the hooves and they are mixed with pure black
horses, will he not be able to recognize his own?‟ They answered.
„Of course, O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him.‟
He said, „Well, my nation will come with bright faces, and white
limbs on account of their ablution, and I shall arrive at the Pool (Al
Kawthar) ahead of them.‟"
