Tirmidhi with a chain up to Abu Hurairah who related that the Messenger of Allah,
praise and peace be upon him, said this.
THE WEIGHT OF JIHAD

“The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, was asked, „O
Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, what other good
deed is equal to fighting in the Way of Allah?‟ He replied, „You are
incapable to do it.‟
The Companions repeated the question two or three times, and
each time he answered: „You are incapable to do it.‟ He then said,
the Way of Allah. Paradise becomes incumbent for those who fight
