“Whosoever did not take part in fighting or equip a fighter or looked
after the family of a fighter well, will be afflicted by severe misfortune
before the Day of Judgement.”
Abu Daud with a chain up to Abu Hurairah who related that the Messenger of Allah,
praise and peace be upon him, said this.
REWARD FOR EQUIPING A FIGHTER AND LOOKING AFTER
HIS DEPENDENTS

“He who equips a fighter in the Way of Allah (jihad) is as if he fought
himself. Also, he who looks after the dependents of a fighter in his
absence is as if he fought himself.”
