REWARD FOR GENTLE DEALINGS

“There was a man who lived before you who was called to account
and nothing good was found in his account except that when he was
wealthy and had dealings with people he ordered his servants to be
forgiving to those in straitened circumstances.
Allah, the Mighty, the Glorified said: „We have better right to this
than him, therefore be forgiving towards him.‟"
Muslim with a chain up to Abu Mas'ud Badri who related that the Messenger of
Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
