monk is more pleasing to You than the way of the magician, cause
the beast to die so that the people can pass.' Then he threw the
stone at the beast and killed it and the people passed by.

The young man told the monk what had happened and he said:
„Son, you have surpassed me, and I think you have reached the
stage where you might be harmed. Should this happen, do not
disclose my whereabouts.‟
The young man began to cure people (by the permission of Allah) of
blindness and leprosy and all manner of diseases. News of the
miracles reached a blind courtier of the king, so he went to the
