achieve salvation through his conduct. Someone asked, „Not even
you, Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him?‟ He
replied, „Nor I, unless Allah covers me with His Mercy and Grace.‟"
Muslim with a chain up to Abu Hurairah who related that the Prophet, praise and
peace be upon him, said this.
