replied, „Pour them out.‟ The man said, „My thirst is not quenched by
one gulp.‟ The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, said, „You
may take a breath and then remove the cup from your mouth.‟"
Tirmidhi with a chain up to Abu Sa'id Khudri related that the Prophet, praise and
peace be upon him, said this.
BREATHING OR BLOWING OVER A DRINK

“The Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, forbade breathing into
or blowing over the cup from which one is drinking.”
Tirmidhi with a chain up to ibn Abbas who related this.
