praise and peace be upon him, said this.
THE SATISFACTION OF VIRTUE

“Wabisa went to the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, and
the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, asked him, „Have you
come to inquire about virtue?‟ Wabisa replied, „Yes, indeed.‟
Thereupon the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, replied, „Ask
your heart. Virtue is that which satisfies the soul and comforts the
heart; and sin is that which disturbs the soul and troubles the heart,
even if people say that it is lawful and should seek your views on
