“Lady Ayesha, may Allah be pleased with her, asked the Prophet,
praise and peace be upon him, „Have you ever experienced a day
harder than the day of the battle of Uhud?‟ The Prophet, praise and
peace be upon him, replied, „Indeed, I have experienced a time at
the hands of your people but the hardest was the day of Aqabah
when I presented myself to Abd Yalail son of Abd Kulal and he
showed no response to that which I offered (Islam).
