A SUPPLICATION FOR A JOURNEY

“A man came to the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, and
said, „O Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, I am
about to set off on a journey, kindly bestow some provision (prayers)
upon me.‟ He supplicated saying, „May Allah provide you with
righteousness.‟ The man asked, „Please add to it.‟ So he supplicated
saying, „And may He forgive your sins.‟ The man asked again,
„Please add some more.‟ So he supplicated: „And may He make it
easy for you to do good, wherever you may be.‟"
