THE VALUE OF MENIAL WORK

“If you took your ropes and went up into the mountains, gathered
and carried a bundle of wood upon your back and then sold it, it is
better than asking people for something regardless if they give it to
you or not. It is in this way your face will be protected from the
punishment of Allah.”
Bukhari with a chain up to Zubair son of Awam who related that the Prophet, praise
and peace be upon him, said this.
