„Do you call Allah to witness that this is your only purpose?‟ They
answered, „Allah is our witness that is our only purpose.‟ He said, „I
did not put you on oath out of doubt, but Gabriel came to me and
told me that Allah is proud of you amongst the angels.‟"
Muslim with a chain up to Abu Sa'id Khudri who related that the Messenger of
Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said this.
REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH IN THE
MORNING AND EVENING
Allah, the Exalted says:
“Remember your Lord in your soul
with humility and fear,
and not with a loud voice,
morning and evening,
answered, „Allah is our witness that is our only purpose.‟ He said, „I
did not put you on oath out of doubt, but Gabriel came to me and
told me that Allah is proud of you amongst the angels.‟"
