“Kais went to visit Khubaib the son of Arat who was ill and found that
he had been subjected to seven incisions of blood-letting. He said,
„Our Companions who passed on before lost nothing in regard of the
world and we have found that the only place for it is in the earth.
Had the Prophet, praise and peace be upon him, not forbidden us to
supplicate for death, I would have supplicated for it.‟
and peace be upon him, said this.
