“A woman who had taken her oath of allegiance at the hands of the
Messenger of Allah, praise and peace be upon him, said, „Among
the matters which we promised the Prophet, praise and peace be
upon him, was that we would not disobey him, scratch our faces,
weep loudly, tear our garments or unloosen our hair.‟"
Abu Daud with a chain up to Usaid the son of Abi Usaid who related this.
PUNISHMENT FOR THE DECEASED BECAUSE OF EXCESSIVE
