Verses of truth from the Merciful, freshly revealed,
eternal, an attribute of who is described with eternity.
They are never joined with time, yet they inform us
of the Day of Appointment as well as (the bygone times of) Aad and Iram.

They remain with us forever therefore they are superior to any miracle
from all the prophets as they appeared but did not remain.
They are absolutely clear, so that there is no room left for doubt
by its dividers, they do not want a judge.
Whenever (the verses) were fought against, the outcome of the war was
that the vehement enemy surrendered to them.
