guided from differences (in creed) and to whom You made clear the path of
purity. O Allah, I ask You with the best request, by the most loved of Your
Names, by the most noble of Your Names, and for what You have favored us
with our Prophet Muhammad, the praise and peace of Allah be upon him,
saving us through him from error.
You ordered us to praise him and You made our praising him a means of
raising our rank, an expiation of our sins, and grace, and favor for us all from
Your giving. So I supplicate to You, exalting Your command, following Your
instruction and fulfilling Your promise, to render unto our Prophet - praise and
venerations of Allah be upon him - what is due from us, for we have believed
in him, and bear witness to him, we follow the light that came down with him
and You said, 'Allah, and His angels praise and venerate the Prophet. O who
believe, praise and venerate him and pronounce peace upon him in
abundance.’ Koran 33:56
You obligated upon Your worshippers the praising of their Prophet, and it
became binding upon them as You ordered them with it. So we ask You by
the Majesty of Your Face and the Light of Your Greatness, and of that which
