“There is no god except Allah, alone. He has no associates. He made good His Promise
to his worshiper (Muhammad) thereby defeating the confederates. Bear in mind that
every privileged claim, no matter whether it is that of blood or property is under my feet
(meaning under his control), except that of the custody of Ka‟bah and supplying water to
the pilgrims.
Bear in mind that for anyone who is slain, even though it was not a deliberate act, with
club or whip, for him the payment of blood-money is very severe - a hundred camels,
forty of which are to be pregnant.
O people of Koraysh, indeed Allah has taken away from you your pride of the pre-Islamic
era and all conceit in your ancestry. All men are descended from Adam, and Adam was
made out of clay whereupon he recited:
„People, We have created you from a male and a female,
and made you into nations and tribes that you might know one another.
The noblest of you before Allah is the most righteous of you.
