in this verse Allah tells Prophet Muhammad "But tell of the favors of your Lord!" to announce the blessings given to him by Allah and to be thankful for the honor He bestowed upon him. This verse is also applicable to his nation in that they tell of the favors given to them by Allah and that this is both special to the Prophet and general to them.
