h133
Do they hate my lifestyle of the Prophet? Verily I sleep and I pray, I fast and I break my fast and I marry women. Fear Allah, O Uthman, because your family also has rights over you, your guests also have rights over you, and you also have rights over you. So fast and break your fast, pray and sleep.
h134
Wasn't I told that you fast during the day and wake up at night (all night)? Do not do it. Fast and break your fast, sleep and wake up (night prayer). Because your body has rights over you, your eyes have rights over you, your wife has rights over you, and your guests have rights over you. Thus fasting is equivalent to fasting throughout the year (x = days). (Abdulloh bin Umar said: I also added to myself so he added it to me. Then he said:) Fast with the fast of Dawud - may greetings remain on him - do not add to it. (Abdulloh bin Umar said: What is Dawud's fast. The Prophet said:) Half a year / period. He is fasting one day and breaking one day. This is the fairest/middle fast. Read the Qur'an (finish it) every month. If not, then read it in twenty days. If not then in ten days. If not read it in seven days. If not then read it in three days. Don't be more than that. Indeed, the most beloved fast is the fast of David, and the night prayer that is loved is like the night prayer of David. He sleeps half the night, wakes up in a third, then sleeps again in a sixth. He is fasting one day and breaking one day.
h135
O people. Take from the charity that you are strong. For verily Allah will not tire (reward) until you are bored (in doing good), and indeed the most beloved deed in the sight of Allah is that which lasts even if it is small.
h136
Do straight and (if not) then approach / approach, take advantage of the morning and evening and a little from the night. Moderate, moderate and you will arrive. Know that the deeds of one of you will not enter him into Paradise, neither will I, only that Allah covers me with His forgiveness and mercy.
